Magniverse — A Universe of Magnet Games
50 magnetic marbles in 5 colors with 6 different ways to play!
These marbles stick together, but sometimes repel each other in surprising ways.
Here are brief descriptions for three Magniverse games.

When you roll a marble in the game Comet Catch, as seen above, if you get three or more marbles to stick together, you get to take them. The person with the most marbles at the end wins.
In Space Bowling, set up 10 marbles in a bowling pin formation and be the first to get the all the marbles to stick together.
In Black Hole, knock others' marbles into the black hole while saving your marbles from it. As seen below, a cluster of 7 marbles forms the black hole.

Magniverse comes with the complete rules for 6 games, which also includes the games Sky Drop, Launch, and Color-Coded Comet Catch.
Magniverse comes with 50 marbles in 5 colors and the rules for 6 games. Cost is $10.

Magniverse players are creating new games with their marbles. I've already been told about 3 new games: Wormhole, Galaxy Birth, and Catch a Star. Soon I will post the rules for these games. Share the Magniverse games that you create so I can share them with everyone at this site.

Complete Rules: Comet Catch
Send a "comet" through the universe to see what it catches. Whoever catches the most wins.
- Place all the marbles on a short carpet or rug so they are close, but none of them are sticking to each other. This is the universe.
- Every player selects three marbles from the universe (four, if everyone agrees).
- Take turns rolling one marble into the universe of marbles. If you get three or more to stick together, you get to take those marbles. Two or less and you must leave them there.
- When all marbles have been caught and the universe is empty, each player counts up their marbles. The player with the most wins.
Other Rules
- Imagine a boundary that goes around all the marbles on the carpet. You must release your marble from outside this imaginary boundary. (Everyone must agree on the boundary.)
- If someone runs out of marbles, they are out of the game (unless a generous neighbor gives them one).
- If someone rolls a marble that goes outside the universe, place that marble back into the universe near the edge.
- "Shrink the Universe!" As the game proceeds, the marbles tend to spread out more and more. It is difficult to finish the game. Each player can call "Shrink the Universe!" once during the game. Before your turn, if the marbles are so spread out that there is no way to get three to stick together, you can call for a shrinking. The marbles are moved inward so they are much closer together. (If the game is still not over after every player has used their "shrinking turn," then every player can call for a shrinking a second time.)
